Publications
Two "Cahiers de Droit Fiscal International" are published once a year and distributed free to all members of the Association (as from 2000 in book form and on CD-Rom). These "Cahiers" contain a wealth of domestic and international material in dealing with the Subjects to be discussed at the following Congress. They comprise IFA Branch Reports together with a General Report on each of the two Subjects selected for the Congress of that year. IFA Branch Reports are published in English (and in exceptional cases in one of the remaining official IFA languages, i.e. French or German). General Reports are printed in English, and, if applicable, in the original language. The "Cahiers" are an invaluable source of information of lasting scientific value for any specialist interested in international or comparative fiscal law. Please click for a complete list of Cahiers published since 1939 and where they can be purchased. As an extra service, online versions of the IFA Cahiers as from 1980 have been made available on the website of IFA’s Sister Organisation, the International Bureau of Fiscal Documentation (IBFD) in Amsterdam. IFA members in “good standing” (i.e. having no arrears in their annual membership fees) can access these publications free of charge via the secured section of the IFA website. One of the advantages is that new Cahiers will be made available on the Internet as soon as the printed books are available, i.e. annually on June 15. Notwithstanding this additional service, at least for the time being IFA will continue to meet the demand of its members by publishing the Cahiers in book form and on CD-Rom.
In the IFA Congress Seminar Series the proceedings of some of the Seminars held during the annual Congresses are published. Please click for a list of publications.
The "David R. Tillinghast Research Programme" has resulted in three publications whilst further publications are expected. Please click here for further information.
In addition, IFA publishes a Yearbook containing information on the Association's activities. This book is for IFA members only.
