On Thursday, 13 November, 16h00-18h00, the Netherlands IFA branch holds its annual Autumn meeting. 

Discussion 2026 draft reports

The members' assembly will discuss the draft reports for the 2026 Melbourne Congress:

Subject 1: Taxation of Royalties

Reporters: Mart van Hulten (Lubbers Boer Douma) and Loes van Hulten (Deloitte).

Subject 2: Tax and the Energy Transition

Reporters: Fleur Modderman (ASML) and Mick Knops (Loyens & Loeff) 

Expert discussion - what’s next for Pillar Two

The second half of the online meeting will discuss what's next for Pillar Two. The branch is honored to welcome guest speakers who have been closely involved in the development and roll-out of Pillar Two:

  • Itai Grinberg, professor of Tax Law (Georgetown) and former negotiator for US Treasury;

  • Mohamed Maâtough, advisor to the Netherlands Ministry of Finance and lecturer (Leiden University).
