We invite you to download the IFA Society App to stay up to date on all IFA matters. Please follow the steps below.
1) Download the IFA app from the App Store or Google Play
2) Sign In
Tap the round icon in the top-right corner and log in using the same email and password you created during registration for the Congress.
Forgot your password? No problem! Click “Forgot password” during sign-in, and you'll receive an email to reset it. Note that the password reset will only be for the app.
Unsure of your registered email? Contact support at [email protected] for help.
3) Install the IFA 2026 Event
Will you be participating in the IFA 2026 Melbourne Congress? To access the event, please install the IFA 2026 app. Navigate to the "All" tab and select IFA 2026 to install the event. Please note that the app is only visable once the app has gone live.
4) Edit Your Profile
Choose your visibility preferences
Yes, make me visible
No, keep me hidden
You can update this anytime in the app’s settings
5) You're All Set!
The event App will now appear under "Installed Events". Welcome aboard! Start your journey with a quick introduction, and find helpful FAQs for technical support by tapping “More.”
FAQs
How can I interact with participants?
You can find a static list of participants (who have consented to share their information) under the button Persons->Overview of Participants. To chat and/or schedule a meeting with another participant, please go to Persons->Participant Chat. Here you will see all participants who have downloaded the event and are available to chat and meet.

How to ask a question during a session?
If a session intends to use the Q&A feature it will be visible in the app under the relevant session in the interactive tab and you can enter your questions. Questions will be collected and managed by the Secretary of the session. Which questions will be answered is at the discretion of the Chair & Secretary of the session.
How can I access the voting questions?
If a session intends to use the voting feature, it will be visible in the interactive tab in the app under the relevant session.
How can I use the Live Captions feature?
The Live Captions feature has been enabled for all scientific sessions and can only be used for the duration of the session. This feature can be found in the interactive tab. When enabling this feature, you first need to select the language that you would like the captions to be in. There are 35 languages to choose from. Live Captions will automatically translate what is being said by the panel into your chosen language. You can either read the text or listen to the translation using your preferred listening device. The captions will remain visible in the app until you delete them. The captions cannot be exported.
