IFA’s Honorary Member Jan van der Bijl passed away on 13 March 2026 at the age of 75.
He served as General Treasurer for the Branch in the Netherlands from 2002 to 2007.
During his time in office, he successfully restructured IFA’s funds in a prudent and conservative manner.
Thanks to his wise policy, IFA did not suffer from the world-wide financial crisis of 2008.
He will be remembered as a true friend of IFA and a valued colleague on its Executive Board.
