European Region Conference Amsterdam 2023

The Netherlands IFA branch looks forward to welcoming IFA members from Europe and beyond to discuss "Countering tax avoindance in the European Union and beyond" during the third IFA European Region Conference on 5-7 July 2023 in Amsterdam. 

The central theme of the conference is "Countering tax avoidance in the European Union and beyond". 

Bringing together tax professionals from Europe and beyond, the Conference will give the stage to distinguished speakers from the academia, government, judiciary, business, and practice to highlight crucial issues resulting from the fast-paced adoption of anti-tax avoidance policies by the European Union and their impact within Europe and around the world.

• In consultation with the European Region Committee, the 2023 Organising Committee has developed a programme focusing on the issues emerging from tax avoidance, abuse of law, State aid and dispute resolution. The sessions shall address ATAD 1 and 2, the Unshell Directive, the SAFE initiative, the Foreign Subsidies Regulation, and the EU’s green tax agenda. 
• The Conference will take place at the Beurs van Berlage in the heart of the vibrant city of Amsterdam on 5-7 July 2023. As Amsterdam is a popular destination for business and leisure, we recommend participants to make their travel arrangements as soon as possible.
