The IFA LATAM Regional Committee have launched back in 2011 a research award in international taxation called "Premio Internacional de Investigación del Comité Regional Latinoamericano de IFA”, which has been successful in fostering the tax research in LATAM, as well as in developing an internship program at IBFD in order to provide academic support to the topics discussed every year at IFA LATAM's conferences.
